I'm feeling Fall in the air. This reminds me to dust off my Crockpot and start making some hot meals. One of my favorites is Taco Soup. It feels like comfort food and is reasonably healthy, to me. Here's my recipe:
This quote touched me and I wanted to share it with you:
“No matter who you are, no matter what you do, you absolutely, positively do have the power to change.” ~Bill Phillips Quote came from this site: http://www.fitnessforweightloss.com/helpful-weight-loss-quotes/#inspiration One of my dreams is to create an on line Tapping group that can help people lose weight so they feel more confident and delighted when they look in the mirror. It’s here and it feels fantastic to have it setup. It’s going to be once a month in the evening and it includes
Video conference
Recently, I was tapping as a practice client for a future EFT Practitioner; while she was leading the tapping “I choose my destiny” came to me. This has helped me remember my destiny for my weight choice so I didn’t grab those impulse foods when they called to me. I went home and enjoyed what I had originally planned to eat. It feels good to choose my destiny that is in line with my lifestyle choices.
Find what works for you and love the feel of empowerment to succeed and inspiration to meet your dreams, goals and lifestyle choices. Today I saw something about meditation come up more than once. I know it’s good for me but I have resistance to doing it.
Earlier this year I learned I can do it although I do it rarely. Seeing it come up today made me think about how I could add in something in that direction. Adding a short breathing exercise daily would be good for me and I just found some video meditations I’m going to watch. I have some options and it feels great! Adding one simple thing in our lives can improve it and be good for us. It can feel empowering and inspiring. Let's add something positive to our lives; it can even be something very small. This morning I noticed I was feeling thirsty and it felt great to have some water. Some signs it’s time to drink water are when:
The other day I got my first order of my paperback book Joyful Life Living Weight Loss. It was exciting and rewarding to see it in print.
I decided to keep a copy on my desk on a little easel. It has given me inspiration and reminds me to continue to be open to unexpected avenues along my life journey. Let’s be open to possibilities and inspiration. These can bring happiness into our lives which contributes to our own joyful life living. The past can’t be changed, the future is unknown and the present is a loving gift so let’s honor, respect and accept ourselves as we are in this moment.
I see sun peaking through the clouds...time for a quick walk! This is one way to add a few extra steps in my day. I was glad I added some extra steps to because they can add up.
Let's find ways to add some steps or movement and let's keep moving It's the Holiday season and I don't want to gain weight like I use too during this time.
I noticed lately that I think more about do I really want this before eating or drinking something. I find I'm saying maybe another time. I can have what I want and I don't feel deprived. I’m happier because of it and it fits with joyful life living. This is a good time for me to be aware of what I'm choosing to eat and making mindful choices. Before a meal (about 30 minutes) start sipping on a glass of water. Work your way up to drinking a cup of water 20 - 30 minutes before each meal in your day. This can give your brain the opportunity to let you know your full sooner.
Bullying and being unkind to myself didn't help me with my weight-loss but tapping and learning to love and accept myself as I am did.
Be kind to yourself along your weight-loss journey and tap because you're worth it! Identify some healthy snacks and have them on hand when you need them. Some suggestions below are:
The trick is to be prepared and have healthy snacks on hand so you can easily grab them when hunger or low energy hits. Have you lost weight and gained it back and added on more weight along the way? You’re not alone.

Check it out! As some of you know I’ve been on a weight-loss journey this year.
Some big keys in this year’s journey to learn more about weight-loss are:
I’m glad to be on my way to my ideal weight and looking forward to sharing what I learned from my own experiences and others. Have you ever got on the scale and not liked the number on it. You aren’t alone. I have been on a weight loss journey this year. I have done a lot of tapping on weight loss for myself and with others.
There have been many ups and downs with it. Over time I found the ups on the scale really affect me negatively. It was getting worse as time went on but I would talk with my Honey and I’d feel better until the next unwanted number on the scale. Recently, when I had bad news from the scale I started tapping about my feelings on it and it helped me let go of some of those negative emotions around it. I plan to tap as I’m walking to the scale to weigh in and tap after if needed. I still have further to go on my weight loss journey but I choose to have a good day no matter what the scale says. Have you struggled with the number on the scale and do you have a weight loss story you’d like to share? |
