Portland Oregon metro area, where I live, has some big heat waves at times. When it becomes so hot or you've done a task and are hot here's somethings I do to cool down:

Things don't' need to be perfect all the time and having a rating for things comes in handy. In some group calls I was a part of: Good, Better, Best rating came up often. This has come in handy for food choices to rating neighborhoods I would live in.
If perfect isn't working for something take the Good, Better, Best rating for a trial run and see if it’s a fit for you.

When I was out walking or taking a drive pre Covid, I’d often smile, wave or greet people. And I realized when out on a walk recently I can smile even with a mask on, greet people and wave from a distance just fine.
