Helen McConnell is a fantastic transformational coach, author and tapping expert.
Her book: 10 Simple Things You Can Do Now To Profoundly Change the World, is a great read. It's about changing the world by changing ourselves. It's one of those books I keep around to go back and browse through. Use affiliate link below or go to Amazon on your own.
In Heart Thoughts by Louise L. Hay there’s a quote on page 106:
“Healing means accepting all parts of yourselves, not just the parts we like, but all of us.” It’s important to accept all of ourselves in each moment. Affiliate link below It’s great to start my day with Donna Eden’s 5 min Daily Energy Routine, recommended by my mentor.
When starting something new it works best to connect it with something I already do. Before I start working in the morning when sit in front of the computer in my office. There are different kinds of tapping out there. I started learning Silvia Hartmann’s Energy EFT Foundation and got her book on Positive EFT. This is amazing and fun because you can tap for:
Let’s be open to different styles of techniques and enjoy the gifts they bring to us. Below is an affiliate link
In my place I enjoy having positive sayings around. Louise Hay and Robert Holden have a deck of cards called Life Loves You. These caught my eye because they are attractive and have great sayings. There are 52 of them to pick from and there is a description on the back of the card to give more ideas of what it’s about. One I have up says:
“I open my mind and say YES to life” Let’s be open to life adventures by building a life we love. affiliate link below
While on line HeatherAsh Amara's name came up. Her book sounded interesting. It's about being our true self. I ordered it and wanted to share a link. I'm looking forward to reading it.
(affiliate link below) There are many Vets and many people who have Vets in their lives. Sometimes they struggle with their experiences they had and I wanted to let people know about the Veterans Stress Project.
They can assist Vets with sessions and by walking them through EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique, Tapping). This simple technique can be used at home or on the go too. This can change lives. Read some of the amazing quotes and reviews from people that participated. Let’s share resources with others; we never know when someone might need it and if they have someone to pass it along to.
My parents were into their origins and heritage and I found it interesting. You see I’m adopted so I didn’t know my biological roots. Eventually I learned some when I found my bio Mom but I wanted to learn more.
Yesterday I was gifted an ancestryDNA test that can give me some information about my bio-roots and I’m looking forward to seeing the results. Do I have ancestors from England, Ireland, Germany or other? The test takes six to eight weeks, time will tell. I was surprised at the different DNA tests out there and what they focus on. Some can let you know if you carry a certain gene so you can be on the watch for specific risks. Others can connect you to some family and/or where your ancestors came from. Affiliate link below
I love doing cheerful I am statements. There are a few up by my desk and I often tap with them. This can flush out and release old thoughts that can hold me back and bring in the new cheerful ones.
I ran across 101 “I am” Power Affirmations by Tony Robinson and picked it up on Kindle. It looks like a great book! Check it out. Affiliate link below
When browsing through a book today I thought her concept was interesting:
Often we want proof that something is true or works before believing or doing it. When we change our thinking first then we’ll start seeing the confirmation. Believe and it can happen. Paraphrased from: You are a Badass by Jen Sincero page 95. Let’s believe in ourselves, purpose and gifts. affiliate link below
There are times I need to step out of my comfort zone on my business journey. In the Power Thoughts book by Louise Hay this resonated with me today:
“I move beyond old limitations and now express myself freely and creatively.” Let’s find our courage and stretch beyond our comfort zone and grow from it. Affiliate link below
While browsing through The Little book of Mindfulness, by Dr. Patrizia Collard today this stood out:
"Mindfulness helps us become really present, so we respond wisely to a challenge or experience each moment as it unfolds." From time to time today check in where your mind is and focus on what’s unfolding in this moment and enjoy it. Affiliate link below
I purchased these great Power Thought Cards, by Louise Hay.
Here is one thought from the deck: It is safe to look within As I move through layers of other people’s opinions and beliefs, I see within myself a magnificent being, wise and beautiful. I love what I see in me. Amazon Affiliate link below
Today, when I was reading One Small Step Can Change Your Life, The Kaizen Way by Robert Maurer he mentions “the small steps of kaizen disarms the brains fear response, stimulating rational thought and creative play.”
I often feel fear when I have a big change I need or want to make but I didn’t know by breaking down a change to very small steps can skirt around the fear of change. When I do this I can tap into my process and creative side so I move forward with my change. Let’s think about skirting around fear of change by breaking down a change into small steps. This can create big change success! Part 2 Small Steps from book by Robert Maureer Amazon Affiliate link below |
