Want a better life? If yes, consider some simple actions to take towards this, even if they’re tiny.
Some suggestions. Reflect on what would improve your life. With this information, what small action can you take this week towards it. Just thinking about actions gets the mind thinking. Changing the past isn't possible but learning from it is.
If a past event comes to mind that you’d wished gone differently. Ask yourself: What could I have done differently. Possibly spoke with a softer voice. Taken a few deep breaths before responding. And if it isn’t a good time say something like hey, we’re here to have some fun, lets table this for now and talk about it at another time. We can’t go back and change things but we can learn from it and handle it differently. 2023 is a year for wanting movement and action for me. With some inspiration from a dear group of ladies, the word “flow” came up. So I'm visualizing "riding the flow" around any blocks to my 2023 dreams.
Choose a word or phrase to inspire and guide you towards your wants this year. Don't let blocks stand in the way, use the word or phrase to connect with your dreams and visualize it guiding you through your best year ever. My hubby was doing jury duty for a few days and I missed him. I had this wave of thankfulness for him being able to work from home at this time.
Have you felt a wave of thankfulness for something recently? Feeling thankful brings more joy and appreciation into life. What will you feel like when you reach your goal or dream?
Remember to spend time in this feeling to fuel your passion to experience this dream or goal completed. The Hawaiian Kahuna say, "Where your creative attention flows, so flows your life." When I've had failures sometimes I turtle at first. Then I tell myself to pull on my big girl pants and look for the next step or direction to take.
When You Face A Failure, How Do You Move On? Have you ever noticed seeing the areas lacking more than the areas of improvement when doing a task? This has come up for me.
Taking the blinders off and broadening the view is helpful. It opens the door to see the growth and great parts done as well as seeing areas to grow in. Seeing a fuller picture is helpful and inspiring. Notice your inner dialogs. Would you say it to a friend? If the answer's “no” don’t say it to yourself. Speak kindly to yourself and remind yourself of your strengths.

If you notice you aren't taking a step, break it down to smaller steps. This makes them no brainer steps and dials down resistance to your big dream. The new year is coming up fast and in previous years I've shared and chose three words to focus on at the beginning of the year. This year I came up with a different idea: Choose a statement or thought to keep the focus on for the year.
What’s your focus statement or thought for the year? This year mine is: I choose to live a life I love. Put it up to see it often. If there's a picture that represents it, put that up. New things are easier to see in our environment and will remind us of our focus for the year. Having easy, doable steps to move you forward on a goal keeps the momentum going.
What are 3 action steps to move forward on a goal this week? Make your action steps as very easy & doable. In life fear comes up when change is wanted and there’s a choice to be made. You can stay where you are or you can find ways to move around or past it.
