2023 is a year for wanting movement and action for me. With some inspiration from a dear group of ladies, the word “flow” came up. So I'm visualizing "riding the flow" around any blocks to my 2023 dreams.

Here are a few ideas for energizing and inspiring these . . .
Find a way to measure your progress. Share with a friend, track and celebrate your smaller wins as your moving towards your bigger one(s).

The dreamer in me likes the word “dream”. To create the life I crave, dreams have been helpful.
Dreaming gets the ideas flowing. By taking action it can be created. As you probably know this is often called a goal.
For dreams to be created, action needs to happen. So, dream big and take action to create the life you crave!
Don't defer your dream or goal until after the new year, this is a fantastic time to continue to create them.
Set up supports and systems around you to instantly translate your intentions into action. Jump on opportunities that line up with your dream or goal. When something pops into your head to do towards it, write it down and go for it!
When you act on your dream or goal it keeps it alive and gives energy to continue towards achievement.
Are there smaller things to lead to your larger dream or goal?
For example: If you’re wanting to change your career path and need to update your degree or need a certification to do this. Talk to someone you know working in this area, look into what training would be the best fit for your life, contact them to see what the next steps are.
Taking one small step taken today moves you closure to what you want.
When feeling stuck, connect with others and talk about it. Sometimes all is needed is:
The flood gates open and ideas start to flow in.
Do you wonder where the time goes and why things aren't getting done. Distractions get in the way.
If you're catching yourself fascinated by something that moves your focus away from the next important step towards a goal to thrive in your life (a new job or promotion, school, planning your next adventure) these can be distractions that are getting in the way of where you want to go.
When focusing on the next few steps towards the thriving life you want, it keeps the momentum going towards where you want to go.
Have you noticed at times when you’re doing something new and a negative message comes up like; what am I doing, or I can’t do that, no way? Then it stops you in your tracks, keeping you from your adventure, goal, dream or other.
When these pop up recognize and acknowledge this is a new path and that’s an old thought and continue to move forward.

At the beginning of the year is a great time to explore what you want to accomplish. Here are some prompts to get you thinking and moving forward . . .
If you notice you aren't taking a step, break it down to smaller steps. This makes them no brainer steps and dials down resistance to your big dream.
The new year is coming up fast and in previous years I've shared and chose three words to focus on at the beginning of the year. This year I came up with a different idea: Choose a statement or thought to keep the focus on for the year.
What’s your focus statement or thought for the year?
This year mine is: I choose to live a life I love.
Put it up to see it often. If there's a picture that represents it, put that up. New things are easier to see in our environment and will remind us of our focus for the year.
Having easy, doable steps to move you forward on a goal keeps the momentum going.
