Today I decided I needed to ask a hard question that I'd been putting off asking about a project I'm involved in. It was funny, I asked in an upbeat way and received great news back. Even though it felt hard to ask, and I put it off, it was so worth hearing the answer.

Rate your feeling between 0 and 10 on "this negative thought" Tap gently on the karate chop point (side of hand) and say statement out loud 3 times: "Even though I feel stopped in my tracks by this old thought, I love and accept myself as I am." Gently tap 3-5 times on these spots while saying out loud: "This old thought " Top of head "This old thought " collar bone "This old thought " thumb "This old thought " index finger "This old thought " middle finger "This old thought " pinkie "This old thought " Take 2 deep breaths and check your number (rate it) on "This old thought " that was stopping you in your tracks. Repeat until your number is a 2 or less For myself, I think work-life balance is different for people. What a good balance for me is going to look different for others.
