During a recent trip I was reminded of the beautiful gift this is. With some help and encouragement I surprised a friend that is family for her wedding in sunny California. We both shared tears of joy and warm hugs when I walked into her rehearsal dinner. Let’s nurture those friends to family relationships they are worth it. If you’d like to get to know a friend or family member better check out this article on Psychology Today and ask them some or all the questions and share your answers with them too. I wish I’d had this list to ask my Mom some of these before her Alzheimer’s came on. It would have been fun to talk about with her.

Let’s give ourselves a boost of joy by clearing and cleaning off a space so it’s easier to access and use. When I started dating after my divorce, I ran across a list of questions to ask someone I was getting to know and/or dating. I’ve asked various ones and answered them too. They were a great way to get to know someone in a deeper way.
When I looked around I found a post with a list of questions: Dating Questions: 80 Questions to Ask Before Getting Serious. I’d spread them out over time and choose what you’re comfortable asking. For singles out there this could be helpful or it might be fun to ask some of a “Honey” already in your life. When I want peace or a reset, going into nature has been a big help for me. A drive and visit to the country, forest or beach are some of these places for me.
Find places and new ways to reset and connect with peace and visit or experience them them when you can. Let’s check in with ourselves today and decide what we want to accomplish this week. Now come up with four small, simple, actionable steps towards them.
