Let's Have Some Fun On Halloween!
Let's Say No
This was well said by David W. Earle:
"Being able to say "No" is necessary ingredient in a healthy lifestyle."
Let's say no when we want and need to.

Friends That Become Family part 1
Have you ever had friends that became family in your life?
During a recent trip I was reminded of the beautiful gift this is. With some help and encouragement I surprised a friend that is family for her wedding in sunny California. We both shared tears of joy and warm hugs when I walked into her rehearsal dinner.
Let’s nurture those friends to family relationships they are worth it.
Questions for Friends & Family
If you’d like to get to know a friend or family member better check out this article on Psychology Today and ask them some or all the questions and share your answers with them too. I wish I’d had this list to ask my Mom some of these before her Alzheimer’s came on. It would have been fun to talk about with her.
Let’s get to know the people around us better, it could be enlightening.
Let's release some resentment today.
Here is a round of Tapping on it (points shown below): Tapping on the karate chop point and say this two times: Even though I feel resentment I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
Continue tapping on the karate chop point and say: Even though I feel resentment I choose to talk to the person, stand strong in my boundaries and let this resentment go.
Alternate between these three reminder phrases on other points starting with Top of the head:
Part 2 of Freedom
Wow, I loved this post on Resentment Versus Freedom on Good News Network. Add in Tapping and it’s even stronger. Here is a link:

Cleaning And Clearing
The other day I noticed my freezer needed to be cleaned off. It gave me a smile to see the space cleared off and cleaned and it felt great to have it easily accessible.
Let’s give ourselves a boost of joy by clearing and cleaning off a space so it’s easier to access and use.
When I started dating after my divorce, I ran across a list of questions to ask someone I was getting to know and/or dating. I’ve asked various ones and answered them too. They were a great way to get to know someone in a deeper way.
When I looked around I found a post with a list of questions: Dating Questions: 80 Questions to Ask Before Getting Serious. I’d spread them out over time and choose what you’re comfortable asking. For singles out there this could be helpful or it might be fun to ask some of a “Honey” already in your life. Enjoy:
While surfing the net I ran across The Complete Book of Questions: 1001 Conversation Starters For Any Occasion, by Garry Poole. I thought this was interesting idea to have some questions to get the chat started.
Let’s start some interesting conversations today.

What Are You Grateful For Today
When my space becomes cluttered it can throw me off and slow me down. It feels good to let go of unneeded things.
Today let’s look around our place, car, and/or office and release something that we don’t love or need.
Sometimes we are so busy we don’t take time to reflect on all the great we did in our week.
Let’s reflect and celebrate our successes for the week small to big!
A Beautiful Message
My mentor Helen McConnell wrote her first book recently: 10 Simple Things You Can Do Now to Profoundly Change the World.
I was glad I bought one and asked her to sign it. My copy was the first book she signed. She gives great advice and has much to share with the world. Helping yourself heal can help others. Her message is beautiful and so true.

I love the sun but on gray days there is beauty to be seen and heard.
See and hear the splendor in your day!
When I want peace or a reset, going into nature has been a big help for me. A drive and visit to the country, forest or beach are some of these places for me.
Find places and new ways to reset and connect with peace and visit or experience them them when you can.
Let’s check in with ourselves today and decide what we want to accomplish this week. Now come up with four small, simple, actionable steps towards them.
