![]() On the weekend my Honey and I went to window visit with my Mom at her care place. She’s in her late 80’s and her time here on earth is short, I believe. I remember the robust, full of energy woman she was and it’s sad to see her dwindling and know she’s not going to be here for very much longer. Often, I want to push the sadness away but it’s okay to acknowledge and allow it flow through me in a natural way, like a stream flowing in, through and out of me in a peaceful way. When visualizing the creak flowing sadness through me, it made it easier to spend time with the feeling instead of pushing it away.

Remember a fond memory(s) and think of something one of your grandparents did you are glad about. Lately, the kindness my grandpa showed to my grandma has come to mind. I believe it was one of the ways he showed his love for her. I am glad they had each other in their lives for 50+ years and I was able to spend time with them before they passed.
