Visualizing Flow Of Feeling In, Through & Out

9/28/2020

Picture
On the weekend my Honey and I went to window visit with my Mom at her care place. She’s in her late 80’s and her time here on earth is short, I believe. I remember the robust, full of energy woman she was and it’s sad to see her dwindling and know she’s not going to be here for very much longer. Often, I want to push the sadness away but it’s okay to acknowledge and allow it flow through me in a natural way, like a stream flowing in, through and out of me in a peaceful way. When visualizing the creak flowing sadness through me, it made it easier to spend time with the feeling instead of pushing it away.

  • Gently hold the karate chop point while doing the next two steps
  • Notice when you have sadness or another feeling you want to push away
  • Visualize it flowing in, through and out of yourself like a beautiful flowing stream.

Holding point creates this visualization into a super tool! This is a way to spend time with uncomfortable feelings and to release them.

Shy People Starting To Connect In A Small Way

9/21/2020

Talking with people at times feels uncomfortable for shy people including myself. 3 ways to start connecting in small ways are:

  • A smile across the parking lot
  • Wave at someone while out for a walk
  • Greet people with a simple, cheery hello

Reach out with small steps and work your way up to other kinds of people encounters.

When walking through change, don’t let the “can't do's” get in the way of the "can do's". Be on the look out for can do's and just do them when they come up.

It's NATIONAL GRANDPARENTS DAY

9/13/2020

Let's Celebrate Grandparents Today!

Remember a fond memory(s) and think of something one of your grandparents did you are glad about.

Lately, the kindness my grandpa showed to my grandma has come to mind. I believe it was one of the ways he showed his love for her. I am glad they had each other in their lives for 50+ years and I was able to spend time with them before they passed.

With the coronavirus around & other illnesses using non-face tapping points is best. Top of the head, collar bone, karate chop and finger points are some of these.

Use face points at your own risk
