Have you ever felt stressed about finances? Recently I woke up feeling that way.
The stress felt really strong and I decided to do some tapping on it. My stress dialed down and I went about my day. During the afternoon I was checking in on my stress and was amazed at how much peace I felt compared to when I woke up. The next day I woke up in a better space. I am so glad I have tapping to help dial down my stress and bothersome emotions. It makes room for more peace and joy in my life. What de-stressors do you use that work for you? Pt 2
Peace is a big topic and there are many ways to find moments of peace. Some kinds I’m ready for and some I’m not there yet. Near death (or death) experiences are one of those kinds I’m not ready for. When I was chatting with a person they mentioned their near death experience and a kind of powerful, miraculous peace that was felt. The pull to stay and continue to experience it was strong but it wasn’t their time. I hear this is one of the gifts for the next adventure after this life! I must admit that I want to have peace in my life but I am willing to put off that particular adventure; after all, I still have things I want to do in this life time. Some of those are finding moments of peace by sharing time &/or nature with a friend, taking a drive with my Honey down a scenic road and doing a bit of tapping adds moments of peace for me. What are some ways you find a bit of peace in your life, do you listen to music, meditate? Let me know I’d enjoy hearing from you. pt 1
There was a discussion on peace that I happened to be at. Peace is the absence of conflict was mentioned. This sounded great to me because I don’t like conflict. I looked around for more information and there are many different views & quotes on this. I liked the idea of peace is working out differences calmly and without war or argument. I have had short periods of time that were peaceful in my life, taking drives on a scenic road, a beautiful park and visiting other beautiful places like the beach. I recall when I was first starting to tap on some past trauma, with a practitioner; I had this period of time that was so miraculously peaceful. I noticed during that week I would check in to see if all was alright because I hadn’t felt this much peace and it felt odd to me. Then the peaceful bubble faded and the bustle of life came back. Peace has eluded me often but I have more times of peace now with tapping. I can calm myself and dial down my emotions with it. I am glad I have found more moments of peace and have tapping at my fingertips when I need it. What is peace to you and what do you do to find a bit of peace is this bustling world? Part 2
After doing meditation my friend and I picked a labyrinth she had been too before to go do some free writing and enjoy the outdoors. It was so enchanting and pleasant to walk around, see the leaves turning on trees, the faint smell of lavender in the air, butterflies gliding around. I even walked a bit of the labyrinth. As this summer feels like it is coming to an end and gray days are coming, it was nice to get out in nature and enjoy the beauty of fall coming in and the tail end of summer going out. We did some free writing, enjoyed friend time in a new (to me) peaceful setting. I even did a bit of tapping. That evening I returned to this gem and had dinner with my Honey and enjoyed showing him a new place. Have you tried a new thing or place lately and how was your experience? Part 1
Today I got an unexpected call from a friend to join her in listening to a live energy meditation and to go to a park after. I was so glad she called and I said yes. Meditation isn’t something that I have done well. The closest I would do was sit and take in a beautiful view but this meditation focused on energy and some different intents with it and I stayed with it for an hour. I still can’t believe I did it that long. It felt amazing to have a success with meditation and have a dear friend with me. Being with others, trying new things and learning something new about me felt inspiring! Have you tried or learned something new lately that made you feel inspired? Part 4 There was a quick introduction to tapping yesterday and today is how to do a round of tapping. It’s as easy as 1 2 3 4. Tapping can be used on uncomfortable feelings or issues. Try it out and see how it can empower you. Congratulations you have completed a round of tapping in four easy steps! I love tapping because it can reduce difficult emotions and resistance so I can feel more peace and joy and this can lead to moving forward.
Have you used a technique on an issue or feeling and if so, what did you use and was it a success? Part 3
If you’d like to see how it feels tap on the karate chop point with fingertips of other hand and just tap enough to feel it. Keep tapping while you read. Tapping is made more powerful and effective by tapping on the same meridian points used by acupuncturists and no needles are used and we can do it ourselves or with others. We also use words to express our intention. We use words to address the emotion. For example, let's suppose I'm angry after an argument with a co-worker or a loved one. I would say the following three times, while tapping on the karate chop point the whole time. Even though I am angry at my co-worker, I love and accept myself. Even though I am angry, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I am angry, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. It's that easy! Way to go, you just did some Tapping! Even though we weren't tapping on an actual conflict, people often feel a bit more at peace just going through this very basic tapping. |
