I am getting ready to head out to my TOP’S meeting. If you haven't heard of TOP’S you might check it out.
It stands for taking off pounds sensibly. It’s a weight loss group that is lower cost than other groups. It's nice to have like-minded people working towards similar goals and also support with keeping them off. Check out a link above and see if it sounds like a great fit for you! Change and saying good bye has been coming up for me lately. I was tapping on fear of aggressive spiders for my class and my teacher suggested looking at death and what I believe happens after death.
This is kind of a tough subject and I must admit there were some things coming up about it.I thought that’s strange because (for myself) I know where I am going. I contemplated about it some more and learned more about this and I had a few “aha moments.”
It’s still hard to think about saying “goodbye” to people and I am not ready to say good bye to this life yet. I understand death is a part of life and possibly I will become more at ease as I grow older and have more life experiences. Is change and saying good bye difficult for you and how do you deal with it? I just changed my name of my website to KD's Adventure and my
New Website is: kdsadventure.com It's exciting to be getting closer to becoming an EFT Practitioner. Moving forward on my journey! Lately I have been tweaking my diet to help with some health matters. It was recommended I add in two cloves of raw garlic a day. I haven’t peeled or used raw garlic in many years.
While I was bustling in the kitchen pealing garlic I was hanging out with a person in my life (for the blog) I will call her Lilly. I was using a garlic press for the first time and I was fussing over getting as much out as possible. Then sudden Lilly popped out with “you have some in your salad that’s good enough for the first time. “ It was so amazing to hear such wise words from a beautiful, candid autistic woman. This was a reminder to me to go with the flow. I am so glad to have Lilly in my life; she brings me joys, gifts and laughter. Have you had a reminder lately about something in your life? Last week I was working on my last lesson of level 1 EFT/Tapping. I learned about tapping on limiting beliefs and then I needed to take a test and pass it to continue on to level 2.
I felt nervous and afraid to take the test. My negative talk reared its head with “How can I remember all of this EFT information” and “I don’t do well on tests” so I chose to tap on this during the week to help me dial down my angst and fear. I tapped each day for 4 days and my nervousness was down to a 2 – 4 and I wanted the number down to 0. Then I watched the Gary Craig limiting beliefs tapping video and it really helped to dig deeper and find some issues that came up and collapse those. The irony of it was I had all this angst about a class I took that was fairly test driven to pass and I passed just fine and my other classes I worked hard on and stressed over, I passed too. I emailed my instructor a few questions and tapped some more on my original statement and it was like a light switch flipped and I was ready to take the test. Guess what…I passed! I can look back and think how ironic it was that I was stressing over tests all these years and I did just fine. Have you ever been nervous about a test and what did you do to overcome it? |
