Are you going through a large life change and do some of these sound familiar:

  • Feeling guilty
  • Fear of change
  • Easily overwhelmed
  • Struggles with Personal Boundaries
  • Saying yes when I’d rather say no

If you would like to use tools to make life feel easier this guide can introduce you to some and remind you of others. There are thirteen tools, with links to five videos and a bonus tool.

Tapping Made Easier

2/25/2019

Learning something can feel complicated until we get used to it, tapping can seem this way at first. The tapping charts are great but seeing each point with a picture could make this easier. Here’s a new tapping sheet I created for this.

Tapping is easy and can transform lives.

Fitting Things In

2/20/2019

Picture
It’s important to fit in tapping, some ways are when we are:
  • Passenger in a car
  • Watching videos or TV especially if you feel upset, angry or scared (triggered by what’s on)
  • Waiting in line
These are a few ways to fit in tapping. How do you fit things in you need or want to do? Pt 2

Fitting Things In

2/19/2019

Picture
We live in a busy world full of obligations and distractions. Finding time for things we need and want to do is important.

One of the ways I grow is to read. I wanted to read a book but I was busy. I looked on line and they had a short version of it and downloaded it. It feels much more achievable. My hubby has a long work commute and he often listens to audio books during this time. I think these are great ways to fit something like this in.

It’s great to have options. Thinking outside the box to fit things in can open the door for more joy in our lives.

Happy President's Day!

2/18/2019

It’s a big job to be the president and lead our country. Here are a few leadership quote that caught my eye:

“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”- John Quincy Adams

“The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly.” –Jim Rohn

What Would You Do

If someone gave you $1000 how would you spend it?

I think I’d put it in a trip fund for a future adventure.

A Run Away Adventure

If you could run away for a day and the cost was paid for, what would you do?

I’d go to the Grand Canyon and take a tour, there are many ways to choose from. A few: sunset tour, train tour and the one with a helicopter ride got my attention.

An Interesting Book

2/11/2019

My hubby has been reading an interesting book. When it's laying around, I read some. He's even put in a book mark for me. It’s called:

Dare To Lead, by Dr Brené Brown

There are other book titles that caught my eye by her too.

Feel Freedom Focusing on Positives

2/6/2019

Old habits can sneak back in if we aren’t mindful. Lately fear has been creeping in and it can block me from what I want in my life.

I was at an event and the seats we choose didn’t give the leg room I need for my knees. I said to my Hubby we can’t do this again and he said: “we could choose different seats like the row behind us.” Yes, of course we can! I was letting the fear of my knees acting up block my options and I don’t want fear to rule my life. In the end my knees were fine and I’d gladly go to an event there again.

When we focus on the positives in life it can take the blinders off, we can see other options and feel more freedom.

Listening for Boundaries

2/4/2019

On the other side of boundaries, being mindful of others boundaries is important too.
  • Listen intently
  • Follow through
  • If you forget the change make a mindful note of it
It’s worth working on and improving our boundary skills.

Focus On What We Need & Want

2/2/2019

Picture
This quote was a great reminder to focus on what we need & want in our life.

"I remember that when I create peace, harmony, and balance in my mind I find it in my life."

Tapping for Boundaries

2/1/2019

Picture
Take a breath in and out

Tap on side of hand - Karate chop point

Say 2 times out loud: Even though I haven’t held my boundary I love & accept myself as I am

Say this 1 time out loud: Even though I haven’t’ held my boundary I choose to hold them and love & accept myself as I am

Alternate between phrases and tap each round point - see chart. Remember to breath in and out after saying a phrase:

  • This boundary
  • I choose to hold this boundary

Take a few deep breathes. Do more rounds of tapping if needed.

With the coronavirus around & other illnesses using non-face tapping points is best. Top of the head, collar bone, karate chop and finger points are some of these.

Use face points at your own risk
