Let’s be mindful of our schedules and don’t over fill it. If there is a bit of time that is free don’t stuff something else in it. Give yourself breathing space in your schedule. When we are running from one thing to another and our schedules are over full we can be exhausted and often don’t get it all done. This can feel frustrating.
Think about reducing the load so there is plenty of time to get done what’s needed. It feels more peaceful and energizing when we figure out what is a good fit for our self and our body. When we know what we are doing ahead of time then we have time to find other options or figure out how to reduce some of the steps in our busy day by combining errands or delegating a few things to others. This can give us breathing room in our lives and we can be present and enjoy the gifts in them. Balance in life is so important and that can look very different for each person. When we find the right balance in our life we can have more peace, energy and feel more successes in our lives. When I have adventures these are cherished times that add joy to my life. This creates cherished memories to look back on fondly and enjoy.
Let’s have adventure and cherish the memories that add bliss to our lives. Today is my birthday and it got me thinking about how my life is worth living. What does that really mean to me…hmm…?
When I think about what adds to my life there are many gifts that add value…relationships I have, my joy ~ it’s so much better when I look at the world with positive eyes and see the joys no matter the size. Learning and sharing is very important to me and creating my life with my core values in mind helps me with this. Today take a bit of time to unpack your suitcase around this. Do some reflective journaling or free write and see what comes up. What’s important to you and brings you your life worth. Let’s remember ~ Life is worth living! Today I was reading from 101 Habits of Positive Living (from the site; Power of Positivity). I love the list they have. I ran across one that really spoke to me today:
"Forgive Yourself, or as I like to say, ForGIFT Yourself!" Forgiving ourselves is one of the keys to a positive life and Joyful Life Living. We are giving ourselves a big beautiful gift by doing this. We all make mistakes so let's learn from them, be kind to ourselves and remember to let them go Let’s love ourselves as we are in this moment today and every day because we are worth it!
Stepping out doing something new where I need to speak to a group of people is outside my comfort zone and takes courage for me to do.
Last week I decided to checkout a ladies business meetup group. It was a great experience to listen to other business women and talk about what I do. I plan to return next week and someone invited me another day to chat. Let’s tap into our courage and step outside of our comfort zone and experience new things. If you’d like to make a change in your life take this idea out for a test drive for a while and see if you see some shifts in your life in that direction, they could be small too big.
At least once a day visualize parts of your life the way you want them to be as if they’re happening currently. For example if I wanted to be a movie start I’d visualize going to an opening of a movie I stared in at a theater on opening night. When we visualize where we want to be it can open the door naturally to guide us in that direction. Today let's take a short time to visualize our life as if we’re living our ideal, blissful life and be open to the possibilities... I was reminded of a book I enjoyed a while back called the Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin.
When I checked out her site she had more books and PDFs. It was amazing to see how many new things she had up on her site. One of the reasons I liked The Happiness Project was it lets us explore and create our own happiness. We aren’t one size fits all with happiness and creating the life we want, we are beautifully unique. Let’s create the happiness and joyful life living we want. Yesterday I received confirmation that a very large expense was coming my way but it could be in a week, year or longer. It really hit me hard and I needed to look at my resources and choose wisely.
My intuition has served myself and others well although sometimes I have a hard time following it. This time I’m choosing to follow my intuition. That keeps my resources available for this expense and other necessities too. Let’s listen to our intuition and share our gifts with others when they are open to hearing it. One day I was talking with a friend about going to a pool for exercise and I mentioned that I didn’t like getting into a swim suite. She said something like Katrina women fit to extra curvy have a hard time getting into a suite because there is something they aren’t completely happy with. Go and enjoy it.
I did go and I loved that pool and community. There were all sizes of people and we were people getting exercise, chatting and having a great time. The pool closed, I still miss it and the community but I’m glad I went and had the experiences I did. This is a great reminder to don’t let resistance stand in the way of opportunities to thrive and when I feel resistance I have tapping to help me through it. Find ways to move past or let go of resistance so you can enjoy opportunities that come your way that add to your life. At times we’ll disagree with others. Arguing over something, especially with the intent to win doesn’t always solve disputes and can create resentment.
We have other choices in these situations we can agree to disagree and go on with our lives and other times taking a break with a set time to talk about event later can dial down the charge so options can be figured out in a calmer way. A few days ago I needed a bit of a lift and getting out gave it to me.
Then while I was waiting in line and tapping person before me bought my coffee. We never know what's around the next bend in the road. It really touched me. Let's spread some simple joys today, with a friendly greeting, thinking of you sent to a friend or buy a "cuppa" fun for someone. part 2 of Needing a Lift This morning I seem to need a bit of a lift but I plan to have a great day. So I’m going to tap into my free ~ spirit while I run some errands by:
Let's tap into our free spirit today and thrive Part 1 Needing a Lift Speaking our truth kindly is a process. The other day I was speaking my truth but I could have said it kinder. I’m glad I’ve improved in this area and I know there is room to grow.
When we express anger calmly we hold our power and people can hear what we say and can respond kindly. One afternoon I was very tired. I didn’t want to take a nap so I bustled around doing different tasks and took a walk. I was still tired and finally I sat down and dozed for quite a while. I felt guilty about it too.
When I thought about that guilt I realized it came from an old message that didn’t serve me anymore. This was a great reminder to me to let go of old messages and take some down time when needed. Let’s let go of old messages, listen to our bodies and enjoy the times we can continue and honor ourselves when we need to slow down or take a rest. Let's spread our wings and soar. When I was at the beach I could spread my wings...it was exhilarating feel to have the powerful wind blowing that day.
I could lean into it and it was freeing. It was beach flying fun! It's important for me to connect with my playful side and have adventures. This is a fond memory of mine. Embrace your adventurous side and have some fun. It doesn't matter what age we are it feels good to play. Embrace your playful side and find some fun and have adventures small to big. Over the years, fear held me back from being my true self.
I’m glad I have tapping to let go of fears. There is room to grow in this area but I stand in my power and speak my truth more. It feels great to be me. We’re happier when we’re walking on our true self path and living our purpose |
