When we release the chains of unworthiness we open the door to inspiration and to creating the life we want. A few tips and techniques that have helped me and others with this are:

Feel more free when old hurts are released. It’s funny I’ve known about tapping since the early 2000's and I was certified in it last year but describing it in a way that people can easily grasp this simple and amazing technique has been tough. I want it to be clear and concise. Recently, I came up with this and I wanted to share it.
Tapping is a simple technique that has been used to ease upset emotions around life events. We use our fingertips to tap on specific acupuncture meridian points while saying out loud what is bugging us (it can be an emotion, event or something else). This can feel relaxing when we release the upset emotions and can let us be open to more positive emotions like confidence, love and happiness. What do you think? This year seems to have started with some decluttering and it feels great to see less of it.
I’ve found what has worked for me is: Ask for help when needed, remember it’s not a race so do small tasks and celebrate successes. Shoot for good enough because making it functional and comfortable is a great way to be organized and still have a homey feel. Sometimes I get busy and don’t connect as often as I’d like to with people in my life.
Lately, I’ve had the pull to reach out to some and let them know I’m thinking of them. With all the technology out there it’s easy to do. It felt great doing this and hearing back. During our busy lives let's take a bit of time to reach out to the important people and nurture these special gifts in our lives. These connections bring and give joy, laughter and much more.
When reading in Power Thoughts today, by Louise Hay, this spoke to me: “I’m equally blessed in love, harmony and joy. I take in life in perfect balance.” This is a great reminder to me.
Keeping balance in life is a necessity for me. Sometimes I need to look at this and adjust some areas in my life. Let’s be aware of life balance, it’s important for our well-being. Part 2 Power Thoughts, by Louise L Hay Affiliate link below There are many things and people I’m grateful for in my life.
Yesterday, one stood out more; someone gave their time to help me with my business. Their time was priceless and so was their expert recommendation. I’m touched he took the time. When I focus on positives it fills me with joy. Let’s find one or more things and people we’re grateful for each day and fill our lives with more glee. When we do a small kindness to a person such as saying a cheerful hello to a coworker or chat with a lonely neighbor these kindnesses touch people’s lives and I believe spreads joy.
Let’s spread daily joy and be open to receiving them too because it feels great to give and receive! We need to find our best path for us. Each of our journeys will be unique.
Let's be kind and supportive to ourselves and others along our journeys because we are all worth it! The other day I had a success to add to my jar. I noticed I was out of floss and when I went to check in the medicine cabinet I had one short strand left to floss with. Well to others that might not be a big deal but for me it’s real big for two reasons:
Way to go for finishing up the abundant floss I had before buying more and I’m flossing regularly. I felt proud of myself for both. When you want to declutter and its overwhelming take small steps to decluttering and it’ll pay off. I’ve done this for other items too and it’s been helpful to dial down clutter. Pt 1 GMS Jar I had a space on my bathroom wall I wanted to put some art up. It didn’t need to be too big and a beach feel.
I was at a restaurant and there were some cards and one stood out of a sunset at the beach with a unique border. I thought it would be a great fit for my new art on my bathroom wall. All I needed was a frame. When I was at a store the first one that caught my eye was it! I put it all together this morning and it’s even up on my wall. It all came together in a unique way and I love it! Let’s be open to unique ideas and think outside the box because we never know what could come together. Today I was struck by an Affirmation; “Joyful thoughts create my joyful world” by Louise Hay from the book Power Thoughts, 365 Daily Affirmations.
It reminded me of “Joyful Life Living”. When I think about putting the meaning of that phrase into words it’s been challenging. I can look at thoughts, phrases and other things and say “yes that is a part of Joyful Life Living” but it’s a part of my joyful living and each person creates joy and it could be different person to person. Seeing the sun come out during the gray winters adds joy to my life and others like to watch the storms role in. Whatever brings you joy take time to enjoy some each and every day and create your own joyful world.
I purchased these great Power Thought Cards, by Louise Hay.
Here is one thought from the deck: It is safe to look within As I move through layers of other people’s opinions and beliefs, I see within myself a magnificent being, wise and beautiful. I love what I see in me. Amazon Affiliate link below Previously I’ve felt a lot of cabin fever when there is a lot of winter weather. Recently my city was hit with a historic amount of snow. I find when I get out a bit it helps.
Today the sun was calling me so I took a few walks. It felt good to get out a bit. I felt the warmth of the sun, there was blue sky and heard the birds making their nature sounds. Let's enjoy a bit of nature and movement when we can. It sure puts a spring in my step and clears my head. This weekend there was a silver thaw where I live and when it started to melt my dining room and kitchen flooded.
I was getting kind of concerned because I was running out of towels. I pulled out a big winter sheet to help keep the water at bay. Then I found another puddle pooling on the other side of the room and one of my shelves was sitting in water. I knew it needed to be moved. My daughter was hanging out that day, very focused on her tablet and all of a sudden she jumped up and said “let’s get it done!” Looking back there was more than one miracle that day. The shelf got moved with my daughters help, dining room felt brighter without it, floor was cleaner and found some rags to dry up the last puddle. There are four more papers for my miracle jar I’m going to add. Let’s keep looking for daily miracles we might be surprised by what we see and attract. Today I went over for a farewell visit to a friend’s house that is moving out of state. We had a great visit, full of laughter and great company.
I’m glad I got to know her and see the woman she is today. She is creating the life she wants one step at a time and learning along the journey. Sometimes friends are in our lives for a long time and sometimes shorter. I'm grateful for my friends. They’re gifts & miracles that come into our lives, often when we need them the most. Pt 2 of miracles
One day I received a Gratitude Label and when I was talking with my mentor about writing down daily miracles it was on my desk. It gave me an idea of a miracle jar and then it became my Gratitude, Miracles, Success or GMS jar. I picked up an inexpensive jar and a package of different color tablets. The jar is good size so I'm open to many GMS's this year. I've added a success to the jar and there will be more to come. It brings me joy to see the differnt colors and read some from time to time. Create a GMS jar or start a GMS list for this year and look back at some or all from time to time or save them up until the end of the year and celebrate your GMS’s. I was chatting with my mentor the other day. She mentioned writing down a daily miracle. We talked about what those could look like. They could be small to big such as a great parking space, a beautiful view or a fireman saving a life. We never know when or what miracles will happen.
~ Let’s keep our eyes open for miracles ~ When I was reading from One Small Step Can Change your Life by Robert Maurer a question caught my eye and I expanded it.
Share one aspect of your career, volunteer position or business that fills you with joy? For me it’s sharing (joy, thoughts and) experiences along my journey. If something that touched me or gave me an “aha” moment I want it to be out there so it can touch others in a positive way. What one aspect from your career, volunteer or business experiences touches you positively or fills you with joy? Part 2 of ~ One Small Step ![]() It’s amazing to have a person in my life that sees my value and encourages me to pursue my dreams and goals. It’s also important for me to see my value and nurture me. Some ways to do this are:
Wow, after looking at what value is I realize I’ve grown in this area and want to continue to grow. Let’s think about our successes, take time to explore ourselves and see our own unique value. We are worth it! |
